Teaching


University of Lethbridge. School of Liberal Education. I created 4 highly popular courses of my own design. 2012-2021.


University of Lethbridge. Department of English. As a specialist in Canadian Literature, I taught Canadian Literature at all levels until 2000 when I turned to Creative Writing and Introductory courses on the western canon. I also taught special courses in the canon and the genre of the Western. I taught courses cross-listed with the Women’s Studies Programme and Shakespeare. 1990-2012.

University of Western Ontario. Two 26-week Honours English courses, Modern Literature and Canadian Literature; two half courses in Expository Writing; two summer half courses in Expository Writing, one on essay-writing and the other on Business Writing. 1989-90.
